• Vine Weevils are nocturnal, quick moving and play dead once disturbed.
• The vineweevil grub (larvae) is far more of a danger to plants than the adults. The young larvae feed on plant root systems, initially on small fine outer roots, but progressively attacking the more important main roots as they grow bigger.

• Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes do not stop at simply killing the Vine Weevils- the nematodes reproduce inside the dead pest and release a new generation of hungry infective nematodes, which disperse and search for further prey
• Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes will kill larvae present in the area and protect against further larvae damage for up to four weeks.
• Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes kill Vine Weevils and nothing else
• One autumn application of Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes should be adequate for a minor infestation.
• For a serious infestation, treat in the spring and again in the autumn.
• For indoor and glasshouses apply Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes all year round for complete control.

Vine Weevil Nematodes Application Notes

• Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes must be used by the date specified on the packet (normally about one month).
• Immediately store Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes in the refrigerator prior to use.
• Avoid application of Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes during bright sunlight. Ideally apply nematodes during evenings or dull conditions.
• DO NOT apply Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes when the soil temperature is below 5C.
• Add Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes to the amount of water specified on the packet and mix well.
• Apply Vine Weevil Killer Nematodes using a course rose watering can or garden hose feeder.
